Dealer-ready premises designed to satisfy the MVC standards · In New Jersey

- Our Process

Five steps from first call to a licensed dealership.

The state controls the clock - ADMS keeps you on time. Typical end-to-end timeline is 8–12 weeks from kickoff to license, depending on NJ MVC review pace. Below is exactly what happens at each step, what we need from you, and what can slow things down.

Step 1 - Consultation

A free 20-minute intake call. We discuss your situation, explain what the MVC requires and what ADMS provides, and whether ADMS is the right fit. Some applicants find their existing space already meets MVC standards or that they need a different kind of license.

  • No commitment, no payment
  • We answer pricing, timeline, and fit questions directly

Step 2 - Foundation

ADMS provides personalized service for your LLC or INC, your EIN, your NJ tax registrations, and the rest of the paperwork.

  • LLC or INC formation with NJ Division of Revenue
  • Federal EIN issuance with the IRS
  • NJ tax registration
  • Initial bond and insurance partner introductions

Step 3 - Office Setup

Your name goes on the door at our dealer-ready New Jersey premises. Permanent signage, certificate of occupancy, fire department registration - overseen by ADMS, scheduled around your timeline. The two display spaces are reserved before the license is issued.

  • Permanent dealer signage installed at the licensed address
  • Certificate of occupancy and fire registration on file
  • Two display spaces marked and photographed

Step 4 - Application

We assist with the submission of a complete dealer license package to the NJ MVC and follow up directly. The state controls the review schedule, but a complete file submitted properly the first time stays out of the rework queue. State-controlled review typically runs 14–28 days when the file is complete.

  • Complete application package
  • Submitted directly to NJ MVC
  • Direct follow-up so the file does not stall
  • Fingerprint form sent to you by NJ MVC; we walk you through it

Step 5 - Licensed

License issued. Five dealer plates issued by the MVC.

  • License and plates in hand

What we need from you at each step

The application process is often slowed down because of missing information from the applicant. Coming to the first call with a few things ready saves real time.

  • Government-issued ID (for fingerprinting and bond)
  • A preferred business name (and a backup, in case it is taken)
  • Basic financial information for the bond application
  • Contact info that you will actually answer for ~6 weeks

What can slow this down

The two biggest sources of delay are state workload and incomplete information of the application.

  • NJ MVC seasonal backlog (we cannot control state pace)
  • Fingerprint scheduling delays at the state's vendor
  • Incomplete or inconsistent applicant info that requires re-asking
  • Bond underwriting timelines from whom you choose for your bond
