- Our Process
The state controls the clock - ADMS keeps you on time. Typical end-to-end timeline is 8–12 weeks from kickoff to license, depending on NJ MVC review pace. Below is exactly what happens at each step, what we need from you, and what can slow things down.
A free 20-minute intake call. We discuss your situation, explain what the MVC requires and what ADMS provides, and whether ADMS is the right fit. Some applicants find their existing space already meets MVC standards or that they need a different kind of license.
ADMS provides personalized service for your LLC or INC, your EIN, your NJ tax registrations, and the rest of the paperwork.
Your name goes on the door at our dealer-ready New Jersey premises. Permanent signage, certificate of occupancy, fire department registration - overseen by ADMS, scheduled around your timeline. The two display spaces are reserved before the license is issued.
We assist with the submission of a complete dealer license package to the NJ MVC and follow up directly. The state controls the review schedule, but a complete file submitted properly the first time stays out of the rework queue. State-controlled review typically runs 14–28 days when the file is complete.
License issued. Five dealer plates issued by the MVC.
The application process is often slowed down because of missing information from the applicant. Coming to the first call with a few things ready saves real time.
The two biggest sources of delay are state workload and incomplete information of the application.
